Tradition of over 100 years
The MM company was founded jointly by Michal Kašík and his friend Ing. Martin Gořalík, who joined forces and together started growing microgreens for hotels and restaurants.
In the summer months they provide self-picked pickles on their farm in Postoupky, their vertical way of growing is not only interesting but also an effort to produce efficiently without the use of chemical fertilizers and sprays.
They were also inspired by a long family tradition in the Kašík family. Thanks to their rich experience and background in the family business, they decided to build a company that combines proven principles with a modern approach. Their goal is to provide the highest quality service and build a company that clients can always rely on.
Gilding mistletoe
A tradition that requires both skill and patience
Gilding mistletoe is a traditional activity that has been going on in the Kašík family for more than twenty years. This gilding and silvering is done by Mr Jiří Kašík, who is the largest mistletoe expert and distributor in the Czech Republic, which guarantees the quality of these products. Each bundle of mistletoe is handcrafted and carefully prepared to shine with gold or silver. We then use these bundles to make decorative vases and small vases. The green, gold and silver bundles are also decorated with delicate decorations that add to the charm of the Christmas atmosphere. Every year, these unique products go to ordinary customers who want to decorate their homes with a symbol of happiness and prosperity.
Making decorations from natural materials A craft full of creativity
The production of decorated trees, balls, flowers and wreaths from natural materials is a beautiful but at the same time very demanding craft that requires skilled hands, a great deal of patience and above all a love of nature. Each piece is original and is created by collecting pine cones, dried flowers, twigs and other natural materials all year round. These materials must be carefully selected to ensure their quality and aesthetic value.
The preparation of the decorations begins long before Christmas, when all natural materials need to be properly cleaned, dried and stored to be ready for processing. The skilled hands of the makers then use these raw materials to create beautiful trees, decorated balls and flowers that can bring a bit of nature into any home. Every detail, from the attachment of the pinecone to the careful arrangement of the dried flowers, is the result of hours of work and concentration.
However, this traditional craft is not only about skill, but also about passion and commitment. The collection of natural materials takes place all year round – from autumn walks in the woods when the cones are collected, to the summer drying of meadow flowers. This careful preparation results in decorations that not only decorate the home, but also bring a sense of connection to nature. Traditional handmade craftsmanship thus combines the beauty of natural materials with human creativity, making each product a unique work of art.
